I’m in Italy!

Where I went:

• The airport in Rome.
• Rome through a car window.
• Castignano, where Riccardo lives.

Things I saw:

• A really long line for customs.
• Part of the Vatican. Beautiful.
• Really crazy Italian drivers.
• A guy that had been hit by a car in the tunnel. Let’s hope he wasn’t dead.
• Some awesome homemade food. And then I ate the awesome homemade food.
• A bright orange and yellow house that we get to stay in!
• A beautiful view from the balcony off my bedroom.

Things I learned:

• People in Italy drive like maniacs.
• Don’t go to the customs line that is run by the guy who likes to take his sweet time.
• Two lanes in Italy actually means four.
• Motorcycles will bob and weave through traffic.
• I love pasta al forno!
• Mmm… wine.
• Absolutely nothing from the Italian game show I was watching.

Travel day. Yuck. Slept about 40 minutes on the plane.

Leaving for Italy today. Won’t be back for a couple weeks. Adios America.
